Is it just me or does anyone else notice how often QVC has shows with Susan Graver and Kim Gravel.  Don't get me wrong I do like both designers clothes but they seem to be on all the time with an hour or two shows almost daily.  I've been a QVC shopper for over 25 years and I know inflation keeps going up but clothing prices on QVC is getting out of control.  I'm sure there will be some who will say don't shop on QVC anymore and I don't shop as much as I used to. Just my two cents worth!

Actually, w/inflation it is probably 25 cents worth.

I like Susan Graver. I have some liquid knit things that wear like iron. I find Kim's quality not to be great. I was surprised this morning when I saw Gary on with Denim & Co. with a plaid fleece jacket for $99. Are you kidding me? I can go to LLBean or Lands End and get much better quality.

I recently purchased the Susan Graver Today's Special Value Blazer and I love it. Many of the other shirts, I can find similar at Macys for less money.

It's always been this way on QVC.  If a vendor is having his/her "moment" (I don't like that saying, why am I using it?), they'll be on very, very often.

Years ago, it was that Philosophy lady Christina somebody.  Then it was Dr. Denese, and WEN.  These three lines are still around, but not so frequently.

Susan Graver has always been on a lot.  Her line must be constantly a top seller, that's for sure.

Right now, I am sick to death of Kim Gravel, even though I like her and her clothes.  They are priced too high for what they are, though.  Especially the the really casual tops.  I do order her pants often, though.

So much repetitive programming.  I would think though the designers must have something in their contract to have  a certain amount of airtime?  Just a guess, I really don't know how it works.  It's not just the designers though............hey look another Dyson TSV today!!  (LOL)

I like SG's line and KG's but in the long run I think Susan's clothes are better quality.

I'm not buying fashion much anymore, glad I did when prices were more reasonable and I can still wear a lot of it.

@blueroses47 I feel the same as you.  While I really do like Kim, I am tiring of her too.

Re: Same Designers

[ Edited ]

They ARE on ALL the time and for good reason.  We know SG is the absolute best selling, most popular Qvc designer.  Judging from the air time that Kim gets, I think Kim is a close second.  I think it's those two and all the others are also rans.  QVC is a retailer, they exist only to make money and these are challenging times for retailers.  Of course, they lead with their proven money makers.  I'm not sure what the complaint about rising prices means.  Yup, sure, ok.  Prices haven't just risen, they sky rocketed. But what's new about that?  I've been with QVC for 35ish years and when I first started watching I couldn't afford much.  I was a sahm and we didn't have the money for QVC which was higher than Sears, which was more income friendly for me.  Now I'm retired.  My lifestyle has changed.  The world is a more casual place now.  While I can buy whatever I want,  I find myself deciding that I'm not going to pay $90 for jeans,  $72 for a tee shirt,  etc.  I'm shopping smarter and buying less.

I noticed and I like it.  I like Susan, Kim, Isaac's clothes and buy quite a bit.  Even when I don't buy, I like to watch.  I find shopping channels to be good background noise.  It's not politics or bad news or true crime.  It's just shopping.  LOL

Not to sound.....but I agree! I always see either Kim Gravel or Susan Graver. Both for me are hard to watch. Their clothes are always on!

Kim and Susan are the current big sellers.  QVC is in business to sell clothing, among other thing.  Thus it only makes a sense that their products are frequently shown.
