I would love to try the new SPANX leggings but will never pay $68 for one pair........there are just too many other brands on the market selling for much less......at first, I thought it was for two pair, but only one....too bad....no doubt they are probably a good product however those of us who won't pay that amount, will never find out just how good they actualy are.......oh well,

Re: SPANX Leggings - Cost???

They are expensive and I've never tried them.  I have tried other brands substituting for other Spanx --and that was every dollar wasted.  I hate that even more than paying big money for an item.

Unfortunately, one of the Spanx that didn't live up to my wants was a pair of the long-legged panties (no idea what they call them) - they didn't last long enough to be worth the price -  but I also never found an acceptable substitute.

Re: SPANX Leggings - Cost???

I just ordered the camo ones.  The reviews were great and I live in leggings so I thought I'd give them a try.  Can always return if I don't like.

Re: SPANX Leggings - Cost???

I have tried the older Spanx leggings from Macy's when they were on sale and had a workable coupon and have had good success, but would never pay full price.

I would suggest you try the Linea seamless leggings. (A26034) At $26, they are a good deal. Of course, they used to be $25, but just about everything Linea went up a dollar. Did they think we wouldn't notice?

Re: SPANX Leggings - Cost???

I really can't think of a good argument for spending $68 for Spanx leggings.  At one point there were not many options on the market which have the density of the Spanx fabrics and helped keep things looking tight, but that is no longer true.  Right in the QVC inventory I find the Women With Control brand to be more dense than Spanx, and Renee's leggings have as much -- if not more -- comfortable shaping compression than Spanx for half the price.  In department stores I think the Hue brand has some very nice selections.  That brand also has enough density in the fabric not to be see thru.  Hue's leggings don't have as much compression as Women With Control or Spanx.  They are generally priced in the $40s for plain solids, and upward of $50 for prints and specialty fabrics and designs.  It should be noted that this brand is frequently on sale at Macy's and Nordstrom.  Also you can find the brand online somewhere sometimes on sale, or at one of the websites where you can apply a discount code to the price.  I can't remember the last time I paid full price for a pair of Hue leggings.

Re: SPANX Leggings - Cost???

I collect leggings, lol. Tried them all. Most on QVC are good. I have four pairs of Spanx, including the camo. Spanx are the best and worth every penny in my opinion. Just size up two sizes.

Re: SPANX Leggings - Cost???

i own a pair of denim spanx and yes they are expensive, but i got them on sale.  i think they are worth every penny, but won't be buying any more because of the cost.  the quality is excellent and that i think, is why the high price.

Re: SPANX Leggings - Cost???

I agree w/you donuts!!! WAY out of my price range!!! I have a limit on what I will spend on clothes. Especially if I can get several pieces for the price of 1.

Re: SPANX Leggings - Cost???

I have purchased several pairs of leggings that have stretched and bagged. Although I do not have Spanx I do feel the quality is very good and it would be money well spent.

i have worn leggings but I get an uncomfortable feeling when wearing them.  I guess I feel like "I m missing my pants" or that I'm not totally dressed.  I love the way they look, I know they are very stylish but I guess they might not be for me.

shawn looks terrific in them....just my comment.
