SHOPAHOLICS ONE DAY AT A TIME (WEDNESDY, MARCH 24)

Hi Everyone!

It's mostly cloudy with sprinkles today. I'm hoping they water the few spring "potential" flowers in the gardens.

Today has to be errand day for me. I never got there yesterday and I don't want to miss the sales. Hopefully, this will be a week where I can grocery shop twice and stock up on the double sales. Fingers crossed.

I was searching my wish list the other day for a pair of earrings and the price was reducted by 50%. There was a notation that said "this item was not available to refund or return". Hummmm? The same message came up with a Vera Bradley duffle bag-new item. I've only seen that on the while supplies last/ final clearance items previously. Odd??

Twinny--You are so much further ahead on your spring cleaning. I haven't even made my plan yet. I'm behind.....as usual. It is so nice when it's all done.

LindaLatte--I swear by the steam mop for the kitchen and bathroom floors. I did purchase a special grout cleaner with a mop for the kitchen floor tile. It did a nice job but I was really huffing & puffing by the time I finished. I have to find a grout cleaner that has a silicone seal to it so once it's done you don't have to repeat the process.

Birdmama---I thought of you when the squirrels were running around this morning on the front porch. The suet cake feeder has been busy. I have the bunny & egg wreath on the door and more eggs are missing from it. The birds keep taking them. It's looking pretty sad so I'll have to retire it after this holiday.

I watched part of Shoe Shopping/Jane last night. I was tempted but I didn't order anything.....yet. The only thing I need  is to replace a pair of sneakers. I prefer leather but not the current price. I'm not sure about all the knitted versions. I'm hoping for a TSV in the future months.

Have a good afternoon/evening.

Re: SHOPAHOLICS ONE DAY AT A TIME (WEDNESDY, MARCH 24)

Good Afternoon and thanks for getting us started, Fressa.  Hope you accomplished your errands.

There are some items that are available for "blowout" sale prices here.  I think they did this once before.  The prices are great, but you are not able to get a refund if the item doesn't work out.  That makes me very nervous about ordering, especially if I haven't tried the item before.

There is a SG dress available that I have, and the price is wonderful.  But, I am not sure if I will order since I haven't worn a dress all year due to COVID and certainly don't need new clothes.   Decisions, decisions.

I had an OLLI geography Zoom class this morning, and it was very good.  I'm also taking an on-line vegan cooking course (not OLLI and cost $20).  It is very interesting so far.  The chef is going over things like what types of pans to use, and spent a while demonstrating how to use knives.  That was something I thought I knew, but realized I did not.

It is cloudy and chilly here (high in the upper 50's predicted), and we are having sprinkles off and on.  I may skip my outdoor walk today and just do a DVD.

Waves to all of our posters and readers.  Hope everyone has a nice evening and sleeps well.

Hugs,

Linda
