SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (WEDNESDAY)

Good morning, shopping friends. Today is another dreary chilly day with temps to drop into the 20s tonight; this is not normal for us at this time of the year.

I'll be making a quick run to the city today after an early lunch. I need to get Midnight's prescription dry food and then I plan to visit a friend recovering from back surgery. The person is really having a rough time dealing with cabin fever.

I got a chuckle out of reading the "throw it on and out the door" thread. Oh, I have done that but I keep items handy that coordinate well. I also remember when I was younger and in college, we used to put a coat on over our pjs, etc. to go and eat breakfast in the cafeteria when we did not have an early morning class. "Make optional skin" was really an advantage. We would come back and crash or just relax until we really had to stir and make ourselves look very presentable.

I'll be wearing my new Susan Graver TSV boucle jacket/coat when I go to the city as a topper for my Denim & Co. pants and tops. It is a casual day and these are comfy and fit me well. I am in the mood for some retail therapy but the purchase of the prescription cat food and some grocery items meet the need.

Have a great day. If you shop, shop wisely.
