Good morning, shopping friends. We are facing another day with a heat index of over 100. Yesterday, the regular temperature was 97 with a heat index of 106. Today is supposed to be another repeat performance.

I made it through yesterday without buying the TSV. I liked the cat version but didn't like it in gray. I don't need gray near my face as that color or lack of it drains color from my face. If I wear gray on top, it might be a jacket but the top underneath it will be a brighter color.

I did, however, buy the TSV for today. My DVD player is very old and I liked the features of this one which permits any tv to be internet ready without paying the price for a tv with that feature. When I bought my tv in late spring, I compared the prices but decided I didn't want to pay the price for an internet ready tv. I also like some of the other features in the TSV which I can justify the expenditure amd the cost of it is less than the difference between what I paid for my tv and the internet ready version of the same brand. I'll be open and say that I like my electronic gadgets.

I forgot about PM Style but a review of it indicates that I didn't miss much. I used to look forward to seeing it each week. I think I was hooked on a movie on LMN which was very good. I got an email alerting me to an upcoming Clarks show. I think I could set up a Clarks store so I don't need more shoes at this point.

I'll be doing odds and ends around the house today. I have a dermatologist appointment on Friday in the city, so hopefully I can find more items to take to Good Will.
