Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (TUESDAY, MAY 31)

Thanks for the explanation Jean.  I thought just meant a "throwaway" phone so it's probably not actaully a burner phone after all.

Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (TUESDAY, MAY 31)

Hello to everyone and thanks @KonaKat for the start. I really hope you enjoy your trip to Branson. I've been many times and have always had a good time. And yeah, all that stuff at the house will await you, but that's for later, enjoy yourself now, that stuff can wait. It's good you had a fun lunch out with a friend yesterday. I'll admit to having no clue what the TSV even is for today, I seldom tune in anymore. Except for Saturday morning's, lol.

@Genny1, have fun at the supermarker, lol. It is a mix of sunny/cloudy here too, but nice temps. I hosed off the deck around the pool this morning and didn't sweat myself to death, so that was nice, lol.

@LindaLatte, glad DH slept better, therefore you did also. You are doing wonderfully at the decluttering, it's amazing with all you have on your plate really.

@Rock_chick, I also thought that was what a "burner" phone was, so I learned something today, lol. Glad your DD is enjoying seeing new places. I finally saw part of an informercial on "Cize", so now I know what that is about, pretty sure my back won't let me do that.

@cerb, you are another one doing great on the cleanout group. I seriously need to get back on that bandwagon, but so much to do outdoors that once I am back inside, no energy or inclination left. Just an excuse, lol.

Other than the usual housework/straightening and outdoor work, not much happening here. Hope all have a great day. Waves......

Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (TUESDAY, MAY 31)

Just checking in quickly as it has been a busy da & we are heading out to friends for cards.  Still cannot fix my typos!

Jean DH & I did the Dixie Stampede meal while we were in TN.  Fabulous meals & we had no utensils.  We Did get a paper napkin & a wet one.  Actually we didn't really get messed up.

Prayers for our two friends.  The heart attack victim is not cognizant since Friday night.  The friend that fell was at the cookout yesterday, but is very uncomfortable having to wear a boot & a full upper body "turtle"  hard shell.

It is raining which we need & will be in the 70's all week.  YEAH!

Hugs to all of you.

@KonaKat

Jean,

I hope you have a safe and fun trip to Branson.  I saw some of the TSV presentation this morning as I was getting ready for work.  It interested me until I saw it needed to be charged and each charge gives the user 30 minutes.

Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (MONDAY, MAY 31)

@LindaLatte

My husband used a fork for foods that are traditionally eaten by using hands - hot dogs, grilled cheese.  Honestly his table manners and etiquette was heads and shoulders above mine.

I can see how this throws you to see your beloved using his hands to eat.

@RockChick

I have a total gym if I really wanted to tone.  The DVDs I received with that thing were useless so I am never really sure if I am doing the exercises properly.  I think I will take the plunge on the Cize DVDs.  Dancing comes more naturally to me than gym equipment, lol.

@Genny1

A burner phone sounds so cloak and dagger, like a spy, lol.

@CERB    I'm glad Dottie is hanging in there.  14 years is pretty good for a goat, yes?  Rocky spent time on the patio, chowing down yesterday.  At this point, the only thing working for me from an identification perspective is that Rocky has a white ring around his eyes.

Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (TUESDAY, MAY 31)

@twinny    We're supposed to get some rain tomorrow and then a cool down.  Today is less humid and should be a few degrees less than the past 4 days.  I left windows open all over the house before I left for work.

My house needed to breathe.  Weird I know.  Even with a gable fan in the attic and non stop A/C for 4 days, it felt like my house was holding it's breath.  Not stuffy, not humid, not really hot.  Darndest thing to explain.
