SHOPAHOLICS ONE DAY AT A TIME (TUESDAY, JULY 27)

Hi Everyone!

It's sunny and in the mid 80's today. Seems so much more tolerable that the last few days so no complaints. I may do some drive thru banking if I get all the online banking completed this afternoon.  The pile of paperwork on my desk is getting on myy nerves so I have to get that handled.

I treated myself today and watched half ot the D &C program. I thought I would check out the tops/blouses for a Christmas present for our DIL. I saw the buffalo check jersey one. I purchased 2 of those for her so far over the years and she loves them. I knew I got the white but the second color I couldn't remember if it was the purple or the brown. LOL Honestly---you think I would have a list for these things considering how many lists I do have. So I'll move on to a different style.

I wanted to remember to post where I order the dogs food and treats in case there is a shortage in your regular stores. Fromm, Purely Simple, Wet Noses. There's a variety for different pets (not just dogs). Most of it is organic and they list all the ingrediants. Hopefully, this will help. I keep seeing articles about grocery supplies and inventory and I wondered about the pet food supply.

I did catch the repeat of Valerie's Christmas show with Jenn C. last night. I swear that I have zero vision problems when it comes to any item that sparkles. LOL I didn't order anything but more than a few things caught my eye. My cue to turn the tv off and try to sleep.

I received the luncthime joggers that I ordered for my DIL (Quaker Factory A379204) and they are nicer than the picture. So glad I took a chance on these. It's tough to find petites plus on sale.

Have a good afternoon/evening.

Fressa--Thank you for starting the thread. Our weather is in the 80s also. I had forgotten about the Denim & Co. show. I guess I was Netflixing. I have more than an adequate supply of clothes, and since I am not working with very few places to go, I just don't need more. I just returned from my 15 minute run to town to pick up a prescription, so that is my first big outing since the road trip.

Re: SHOPAHOLICS ONE DAY AT A TIME (TUESDAY, JULY 27)

Good Afternoon/Evening.  That is funny about the D&Co. top, Fressa.  Hope you find a different style for your DIL.  I have to be careful when watching VPH shows since so many things call my name.  But, I certainly don't need any more decorations.  Ditto for clothes and shoes.

DD told me that the vet said the dogs probably got something like a "common cold" from doggy day care where they go once a week.  They had vaccines against bacterial infections, but they don't help with these infections.  The boy dog has been coughing, but no pink eye.  While the girl dog's eye still looks bad, she is no longer scratching it.

I didn't realize it, but the girl dog (Joy) had been "red flagged" for biting at the vets, and they required she be muzzled.  The vet tech wanted to do the muzzling, but DD insisted on doing it herself.  Anyway, after his examination the vet said she was like a changed dog (after training and doggy daycare), and took off the red flag.  No muzzle needed.  She is so tiny that I can't imagine any biting she did was that bad, but I'm glad her behavior is so improved.

Glad you like the joggers your ordered for your DIL.

Hi Jean.  Glad you got your prescription.  I have a Walmart pickup scheduled for this afternoon -- mostly toiletries, etc., but a few groceries.  I think I will need to take a detour to get there since they are still working to get the roads back to normal after the storm damage.

It is pretty hot here (low 90's), but that is actually a bit cooler than normal.  It was sunny earlier, but now the skies are threatening.  Thunderstorms are predicted.

Very long story, but some ladies from a church group I attended via Zoom for a while have been emailing about what they are doing this summer.  Pretty impressive -- like one has a book of poetry coming out soon, another has been judging horse shows, etc. I was quite impressed by one whose daughter is in the Olympics (rowing, I think), who is in Florida as the guest of NBC.  They are livestreaming the games for the families.  Wow!  I know she was disappointed not to be able to go to the Olympics this time (her daughter has been in two or three others), but seems happy to have this treatment.

Waves to all of our posters and readers.  Hope everyone has a nice evening and sleeps well.

Hugs,

Linda.

KomKat---I have my prescription on the agenda for today. I know I'll be in line for a long time because they have them priced incorrectly. I use Good RX when our insurance doesn't cover enough. ( we have good insurance but the prices are crazy). It always takes them 90 minutes to fix the price. UGH!!!

LindaLatte---That is odd about the little dog but glad the "flag" is off. Our son's inlaws have a GSD and the vet flagged him as having a "slight aggressive tendacy". They insist on having him medicated to do the exam. It's very odd.  I would worry about that much medication in a dog. It's a worrisome situation. Glad both dogs are improving.
