Hi Everyone!
We got snow today. YIPPEE! The sun is finally shining so the icy patches are starting to melt. The hubby was happy because he got to try out his snow plow attachement to the WORX cart. It did a gast job of the driveway for this light snow.
I'm finished with the on line bill pay and started washing the dogs towels and quilts from their kennels. They still like to nap in them from their puppy days. Good thing I purchased the full size versions instead of puppy size.
No Clarks TSV for me. The metallic version caught my eye but I don't think I need any more shoes in the near future. I'm trying to stick to my adjusted budget until we recover from so much expense with the outside house exterior expenses.
Hopefully, the Chewy order I placed for the dog's treats will process as is. They keep selling out so quickly that I'm on empty with the backup supply before any of the flavors are back in stock. I'm trying to be on top of these auto delieveries with the dog supplies and coffee supplies.
I watched a repeat of the garden show with Vanessa and Steve last night. I thought they worked well together. I find Vanessa to be very thorough in her descriptions and uses of the products. I have to take inventory on the planting shelves in the garage to see what (if anything) I need for this Spring. I wanted to downsize the gardens one last time but don't have a detailed plan in my head....as of yet. I did purchase those resin whiskey barrel planters last year and was very pleased with them. The colors were better in person than on the tv. I got them when they were on clearance so it was a good deal.
Have a good afternoon/evening.

Good Evening and thanks for getting us started, Fressa. Glad you got the snow you wanted, and your DH was pleased with his snow plow attachment. No TSV for me either. Like with clothes, I have way too many shoes. Interesting about your dogs liking the kennels. My dogs really didn't like them, but I think it may have been since I didn't have them as puppies.
Yesterday I discovered an ottoman full of old tax materials. I have a large bench with tax papers, but didn't remember the ottoman. So, I spent time shredding most of the papers. I probably should do some more, but I wanted to do some other cleaning while I was in the mood. The cleaning mood doesn't come to me often. LOL
The senior lunch program was pretty busy today, and I went to the hospice office after the gym to work on the letters. Nice to get some things out of the way One of my "gym buddies" told me that they are giving him some sort of experimental treatments for bladder cancer. I think I mentioned Larry before. Please consider adding him to your prayer list if you have one.
Jean was having her heart procedure today, but I have not seen any update. I will let you know as soon as I do.
Found out that my second DGS is supposed to close on his house this Thursday. Really hope this works out for him.
Waves to all of our posters and readers. Hope everyone sleeps well.
Hugs,
Linda

Just a quick update. Jean is okay. She is still in the hospital and will have a full ablation today.

LindaLatte--I will keep your friend Larry in my prayers and good thoughts as well as Jean.

Fressa, we got a lot of that beautiful white fluffy snow last Saturday and I am loving it. The sunshine is warming up the house so I am a "happy camper."
I have not had a chance to read all of the posts so that is my project for tonight.
Linda prayers are going out for Larry and Jean.
My right leg is a bit better today so I was able to go to the gym this afternoon. I have no idea why it's been sore.
We went to the grocery store after lunch for a few necessities & will get the other groceries tomorrow morning.
My dh is visiting mom right now so I look forward to an update.
I know that the Ground Hog will see his shadow tomorrow, but we all know that there will be 6 weeks more of winter. Better than saying 6 more weeks until Fall. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of the Sun Prairie Ground Hog's name is. He is about an hour away from us. I do remember that a few years ago the Mayor got nipped on the ear.
We have a few fun plans for Ground Hog Day. After we are done at the gym, we are going upstairs to see the movie "Ground Hog Day" which we have not seen. Then we are going out for a nice dinner to celebrate our first date on Ground Hog Day back in 1969. Yikes!
I am going to post in a "nut shell" how baby Declan is doing so if you don't want to read it you can pass up my next email. It's gut wrenching.
Hugs to all of you.

Baby Declan in a nut shell....
His seizures a few weeks ago were caused from being removed from the clinical trial.
Tomorrow he gets scans to see the size of his tumor & check for any spreading.
Then they can make treatment plans.
Possibly repeat the high chemo dose & a transplant he went through last year.
He has a Rhabdoid (sp)? tumor which are almost always chemo resistant according to the Dr's.
Right now he is an energetic little boy 100% healthy except for a deadly tumor living inside of him.
Data shows that his chances are not good. Organ shutdown is possible.
Dr's are baffled. His parents are believers and know that he is in God's hands.
His Mom said to put a sticky note on the coffee pot, mirror, fridge, in the car and every other place to remind us that they need prayers from everybody in order to get through this situation.

I am so sorry to hear about Declan, Glenda. I continue to pray for him and his family.
Jean's doctors decided that it was too risky to do two procedures back-to-back. They discharged her late, so she is staying at a hotel tonight and will return home tomorrow.

twinny70--I will keep Declan and his family in my prayers.

twinny70---Phil is the name of the groundhog. They have all types of activities in that small town to celebrate the day. Groundhogs around here are a problem. Once they "move in" they selfom move out unless a predator is around. Once they have familie the "kids" stay around as well. There's quite the "family" in the woods.
Have fun on your date. Hope your leg feels better.
