Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (THURSDAY, FEB 27)

fressa, I am a fan of snow and cold too.  Just not a foot of snow at one time & -30°.  We are getting a refund back from both the State and Federal government.  We are going to put it towards our upcoming April vacation.  It sounds like you have a few good things to do with your refund too.  Bow and arrow hunting for deer make me nervous & we don't have a woods near our home.  I am glad that your system is adjusting to your new meds.  Yes  the prices of rx drugs is ridiculous.

It's a beautiful sunny day.  We have been going to the Wellness Center gym every day.  It's going better for me and today there were only 4 of us there because it was lunch hour and a lot of people playing cards.  We are very fortunate to have such a nice senior citizen center with lots of things to do.

My bf from HS  is having an ultrasound inside and outside this morning. We are  praying that she doesn't have to have surgery.  She is the main caretaker for her dh so it would be a difficult situation for both of them. Her name is Mary Anne.

I am so glad that my infusions have worked for so many years. I just found out yesterday that one of my 2nd cousin's DH's cancer has returned again & this time its pancreatic cancer and he will have to have an infusion once a week for the rest of his life. They are just a few years older than we are.  His name is Wendell.

Tomorrow after getting groceries  I am having lunch out with friends.  It's been a nice quiet week around here.

Hugs to all of you.

@twinny70   It's kind of hard to say because the first dusting of snow started melting yesterday morning and was kind of slushy to shovel.  When it resumed snowing at 3 pm yesterday I went out again and it was colder temp wise and still semi-slushy.  This morning it was more about drifting snow.  It was windy as heck and really cold when I went out there at 9 am to clear the driveway.  More snow near the garage door and little snow at the end of the driveway near the sidewalk.

@twinny70  thank you for including the names of your BF and the husband of your second cousin.  It makes it easier for me to pray for them Heart

Bird Mama, our last couple of snowstorms ended up being wet and heavy.  Luckily they were only about 3".  Add me to your prayer list.  I am having a difficult time dealing with family issues.  This is a far as I can go right now.

Thanks for the names twinny/Glenda.  It does help when praying.

I am pretty excited that now I have seen a picture of Bernie and now know your name.  Probably sounds weird, but I really like knowing these things.
