Good Evening! Hope everyone has had a nice Sunday. Our weather cooperated, so it wasn't cold when we had church outdoors. That was good for me and other "weather wimps" who attended.
After church, I went to the gym, and I have been doing some cooking and ironing. Seeing pictures of the airports on the news makes me glad that I am not traveling anywhere for the holiday. But, it would certainly be nice to see my family and friends in Maryland. Perhaps that will happen next spring.
I saw a news report that at least one major grocery chain is limiting purchases of things like gravy and cranberry sauce. I know one of my friends had a very difficult time finding gravy in a jar at the local supermarket, and that was a week ago.
Waves to all of our posters and readers. Hope everyone sleeps well.
Hugs,
Linda

@LindaLatte Good morning. Didn't catch your post last night. I was figuring shortages and limits and stocked up several weeks ago. I ordered TP and paper towels, too from SAM'S for a drive by pick up. Grocery stores limited to one package of each. Wish that shipping/unloading issue would get settled.
Spent yesterday wrapping gifts and baking cookies for freezer.... . Hanukkah is on the 28th...of November. I don't remember it ever being right after T'giving!!
Happy Holidays to you and the family.

LindaLatte--I had the same situation at the grocery store. I went the previous Friday to do the major shopping and (of course) forgot the jar gravy. I returned on Tuesday just for the gravy and a few other items. The gravy and cranberry sauce were in short supply. There weren't any signs up in the paper products asile but the supply issue seemed to be only on specific brand.

Thanks, Shanus. I hope you and your family have a nice thanksgiving and Happy Hanukkah in advance. I was sort of aware of the "early" date for Hanukkah this year, but it is good to have a reminder. All of my family celebrate Christmas, but DH's family has a mix of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian. And, I have many Jewish friends. I'm sure your cookies will be nice, and glad you stocked up on some of the essentials.
As you found, it seems like the shortages for some products are only for specific brands, and others the entire category. Fressa. It would be great if these supply issues could be diminished before Christmas, but doubtful.
