I had an evergreen shrub gone wild (my fault) right at the front of the house, just inside the gate that leads into the backyard.  It grew into the chain link fence (between the gate and my vinyl privacy fence).  It took pruners, loppers and a pole saw to aid me in cutting off a large part of that shrub.

 

From the sidewalk/street, the shrub then looked a little rough so I finally did something I'd planned to do in 2016.

 

I spent a few hours on my knees running privacy fence slatting into the small fence area and the gate.

 

My hands are kinda sore and I will pay for this tomorrow Woman Wink.  It's done though so there is satisfaction with that.
