Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (SUNDAY, JUNE 19)

Hi friends!  I haven't gotten much accomplished today, but that's okay from time to time.  It was 105 degrees on my back porch in the shade.  Glad I got caught up on watering the yard ahead of time.  My DS came home for Father's Day, but he fell asleep and is still snoozing 3 hours later.  That's what college does to you...  I'm going to be making pizza for dinner.  I don't really want to turn the oven on, but my DH likes pizza, so that's what I'm making for him.  My own father wasn't a particularly good one when I was growing up.  He had anger issues.  Thankfully, he became a kinder, gentler man when he was older and was a good Grandpa to my kids.  I'm thankful for that.

Bernie - I can appreciate your fly shoes!  Jean - I also tip my hat to those single parents, male or female, who are taking the place of 2 people.  Hard work indeed.  And to all the fathers out there, I do hope they have a special day!  ~  Charlene
