Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME(SUNDAY, DEC.2)

Bernie--You have great memories. I remember liking to watch Christmas variety shows such as those that Andy Williams and others did as part of their regular series. I just never got into the holiday movies. I do like the song "Little Drummer Boy." It is great that you ended up with the Little Drummer Boy.

Bird Mama, thanks for saving my butt.  Your decorations are beautiful and so is the Little Drummer Boy.  I like Jingle Bell Rock as a fun song, but my favorite fun Christmas song is I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.  Since my dear father passed away two weeks before Christmas almost 27 years ago, I still cry when I hear I'll Be Home for Christmas.  I love the ⛄⛄⛄  too.

Linda L, I don't like getting out of bed before the thermostat resets and goes back to 68° at 7:30.  If I get up early, i turn on the built in  heater in my MB.  Your decorations sound lovely too.  I don't care who sees our inside decorations either.  The lights and glitter make me happy.  We just got snow flakes.  I am not sure if it was enough to track a 🐱🐱🐱.

Our DD said that she needs to get into a decorating mood.  They all went to a Christmas party on Friday night at a soccer friend of Christopher's.  She said that the house was absolutely amazing inside and outside. The food was fabulous &  then she said that they were disappointed because she didn't know how much liquor they could 🍸🍸🍸.

It was nice to have a nice quiet afternoon.
