Jean I've always loved Walking Dead!  No idea why.  I missed most of last season, was hit and miss on the off weeks.  Picked it right back up though.  One of these days I will hook up to Netflix or something.  DD watched Dexter and had most of the episodes but I never watched any of it, or Breaking Bad but I know I would love it.  Another one is Game of Thrones and I have the first season but haven't watched it yet.

Barbara welcome home!  My friend here just started getting infusions and they have helped her so much!  For her it is once a week. Where will you be for Thanksgiving?  I would love to go to Paris!  I would go tomorrow too.

Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (SATURDAY, NOV. 14)

Barbara--I do hope the infusion went well. The return to the warmth will be welcomed. I agree with you about returning to Paris. I have not been there but fear and letting fear limit our activities is a major goal of terrorists.

Arlene--I know there are pros and cons to the stores being open on Thanksgiving. At the same time, there are those willing to volunteer to work for the extra money involved. I know those who work shifts after or before the family festive meal because they choose to do that. For those who have no family, the fact that there are businesses open detracts from the feeling of being alone. I remember when my local sister-in-law and I went to Jersey to visit my brother. We intended to arrive in the evening after they had their local family get together. We stopped in AC and were amazed at how full the casinos were.
