Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (SATURDAY, JUNE 2)

I ordered Flower Bloom, Jean.  Way too many choices, but I thought that one was nice.

So sorry to hear about your DH, twinny.  Hope he feels better soon and can enjoy the graduation party.  Good news about Christopher's surgery.Glad you were able to get the water heater problem handled quickly.  Enjoy time with your niece.

Linda--That is a nice pattern. As I said, there were so many that it made it difficult to choose. What is important is the functionality of the bag and if it works for you. If I'm doing a short trip, that bag sometimes suffices by itself. I use mix and match clothes of the type that don't take up much room such as SG Lustra Knit, etc. and by rolling the clothes.

Twinny--Sorry that DH took a spill. That would cause concern at night when hearing it. I do hope the pain is less. I'm glad Christopher is doing well and that you were able to get the plumber to fix the water heater.

Re: SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (SATURDAY, JUNE 2)

Happy Anniversary Barbara!!! 50 years is great!

I've been really busy the past couple of days and am finally  catching my breath.  Thursday was my DD's 30th birthday.  We spent part of the day running errands, and a good part of the day looking at dealerships for a new truck.  My DD has been saving for one for the past year, and finally made the decision to order one. (Ford 150 V8, with tow package).   I helped her with the early shopping, her Dad went back with her later to go through all the options.  Kind-of exciting.  We're not exactly the type of family that buys new autos very often.  We also went out to dinner with my Mom.  The next day I cleaned out the barn and received a big delivery of hay.  Ran more errands and picked up the birthday cake my DD didn't get the day before because we were too busy.  So her birthday was celebrated over the course of 2 days.  In addition, I was still doing lots of yard work.

Today I've been doing quieter things inside the house - cleaned out the pantry, dusted a section of the library, did a couple loads of laundry.  Mostly, I haven't wanted to be outside in the sun.  Whew!

Hope you're all having a nice weekend!  ~  Charlene
