Good Morning! It was only 28 degrees when I got up this morning, but should reach the mid-60's later and is sunny. Hope the weather is okay where you live. I know that there are some worrisome storm predictions for some areas.
Hope you heard back from the infusion center, and you were able to have your treatment today, Glenda. Good that Emily's jaw is back to normal, and the hepatitis B shot isn't bothering you now.
I do have a toolkit that I use fairly often for minor issues, Bernie and Fressa. But, I am not sure that I could handle power tools and feel much more comfortable calling an expert to help.
This morning, I had an interesting OLLI class about Israel. Nothing exciting planned for the rest of the day.
I heard from Bev that she isn't doing too well. I am waiting to hear if she was able to get her treatment today. I know she appreciates all your good thoughts and prayers.
Looks like the newsletter will go out before the 1st -- I'm happy.
Waves to all of our posters and readers. Have a nice evening and please post if you have a chance.
Hugs,
Linda

Linda L, it was in the upper 30's & raining when we left home this morning. By noon it was done with the rain. My prayers are going out to Bev. She has had quite a struggle with her health. My arm was only sore for a day so I hope that the next two are the same.
It's supposed to be in the upper 30's-40's all week. Sunny tomorrow and then rain off and on. As long as we don't have an ice storm, I am ok with the weather.
The last ice storm where we lost the power for a day was on 03/04/77.
I am getting my infusion as I key this. So far so good.
We had lunch at Wendy's & it was good. Haven't been there for a long time.
We went to Hobby Lobby and Kohl's & found nothing of importance to us.
Gas went down to $2.99 from $3.13, so we will gas up the Subaru when we get back home.
Hugs to all of you.
Glenda

LindaLatte----I will keep Bev in my prayers. She certainly has had quite the challenge.
Glad you were able to get the newsletter all set to go on the 1st. I know I like to keep on some sort of schedule with major chores or errands. Your OLLI class on Israel sounds interesting. I'm always curious to see the landscape, foods and traditions of the other countries, especially smaller ones.
Our weather is cloudy, cold and raining. I have my fingers crossed that it doesn't switch to ice. I can handle the rain for a few days this week.

twinny70--Glad your infusion is going well. My hubby had a take out lunch from Wedny's last week. I think they have really improved their fries and offer more selections in their burgers. He's a hamburger, taco guy for lunch so I try to get something different on the dinner plate.
Our gas is still up at $3.89 gallon. I have to go online and check for this week. I'm thinking at least one of the cars probably needs a few gallons. We alternate driving both cars since the hubby works from home and I've haven't felt too healthy to run errands.
It's raining and cold and is so cloudy it almost looks like bedtime. The plants probably need the rain but the patio yard is still so muddy. Our weather is completely off cycle. Only a few days of snow and little accumulation. I don't even want to think what the warmer months are going to bring for all the outdoor life and greenery.
Happy to hear that your arm was only soar for one day. That's always a good thing.

I haven't posted in a long, long time, but I'm hoping I might check in more often. I miss our daily conversations. Hope you're all doing well! ~ Char

Good to see you posting, Charlene. I saw one of your goats died -- I'm sorry for your loss. Have you been affected by any of the crazy weather there?

Hey Charlene @cerb I'm sorry to read that one of your little goats passed away.

I was stunned when I checked the weather online yesterday and saw a winter storm advisory for today. We had tiny hail or freezing rain - it made a clicking sound against the window glass. It changed to straight up rain and then the temps dropped so right now it's looking kind slushy and icy out there.
It should be milder for the rest of the week and then we're going to get snow on Friday (I think). Honestly all of this up and down reminds me of March weather not February weather.
