SHOPAHOLICS: ONE DAY AT A TIME (MONDAY, DEC. 3)

Good Morning/Afternoon!  It is sunny but cool here -- it was only 34 degrees when I got up, and we will be lucky if it makes it to 60 degrees today.  I know that is fine for many, but I much prefer warmer, even hot, weather..  Another day I wanted to stay in my warm bed.  But, I had "strong bones" class, and managed to get up and out in plenty of time.

Despite not needing another piece of clothing or any type, I purchased the TSV.  I had ordered the TSV IM had last year, and I love it.  When I tried to get another color, it was no longer available, so I have been sort of sitting in wait.  While I was thinking about buying the practical black, I decided on the wine color.  Not a fan of the "high/low" look, but this doesn't seem too drastic of a high/low.

I did manage to find several things to donate including the Barefoot Dreams sweater that I wore to church yesterday.  I felt bad since I spent quite a bit for the sweater, and it was nice and soft, but it just didn't look good on me.  Hopefully, someone else will love it.

I have been growing my hair out for several months, and I have finally decided to have it trimmed/shaped.  I still want to have hair that isn't as short as it had been, but the longer it gets, the more work that is involved.  My stylist isn't in today, so I'll try for later in the week.

Nothing exciting going on here.  Waves to all of our posters and readers.  Hope everyone has a nice day, and please post if you have a chance.

Hugs,

Linda

Hi Linda @LindaLatte  thanks for getting us started today.  The TSV is cute and I really like the wine color.  I know people say black goes with everything.  I'm finding, the older I get, that I look at other colors as basics or neutrals too.

I went grocery shopping today for the first time in 2 weeks.  Wasn't bad and scored a few specials on wild bird seed and paper towel.

Linda--Thank yoiu for starting the thread. I haven't seen the TSV but wine is one  of my favorite colors. I will need to check it out. You did right to donatean item which didn't  work for you.Someone will benefi from it.

Bernie--Good job on the grocery shopping and finding some good buys. The birds will be most thankful that you found a special for them.

I worked today and since the teacher had a planning period the last period I came home a little early. As I arrived, I saw a big FedEx truck in my driveway. I knew I wasn't expecting anything so I was curious as to whether my memory was going bad. The driver came out carrying a big box with a TV which I knew I hadn't ordered.

Thedriver gave me the name of the person to get it and asked if I knew the personwhich I didn't.  Apparently there was a mistake in the address. If I had been a few minutes later, I would have had to figure out how to get the TV to the rightful person by contacting FedEx...and that would mean not working tomorrow in order to do it.
