Good Afternoon!   Yesterday turned out to be very busy for me, but I got quite a bit accomplished.  The hospice supplies were ready early, so I delivered them to the patients.  I had some missteps -- like taking a wrong turn, and at most of the houses the patients themselves answered the door, which slowed things down quite a bit.  Anyway, I was happy to get the job done yesterday since I had an appointment to have bloodwork done this morning, which would have made everything late.  I also got the hospice paperwork yesterday afternoon, so I did most of the envelop stuffing last night.  I had the bloodwork to see if my new eating habits have resulted in lower cholesterol.

The second roofing company had the opposite view of my roof -- said it needed lots of work and both skylights needed to be replaced.  I'm sure it isn't surprising that I decided to go with the first company -- the work and the price was much lower.

Sorry to hear about your Mom's surgery, Susan.  Hope she is doing okay.  Glad your DH is better after the stent was implanted.  You certainly had your hands full.

I saw on FB that Jean is in Pigeon Forge, TN.  Hope she and her niece are having fun.

Right now I'm feeling sleepy, but I may go out to the local nursery this afternoon.  I see from their website that they have a bunch of new plants.  Some of my old ones have died recently, so I would like to replace them.

Linda L, you certainly did have a busy day yesterday.  I am glad that you were able to make a decision about your new roof.  One less thing to worry about.  I am sure that Jean is having a nice time with her niece.  We had planned to go there in April on our way to Louisiana.  

Susan, I am sorry to hear about your Mom and prayers are coming your way for your dhs stent surgery recovery.

I had a busy day yesterday with going to the dentist & getting groceries.    I walked this morning for the first time all week, but we did go to the gym two days.  

My bff Mary Anne is going through a heartbreaking time with her DH Ken.  He was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon pre surgery and the Nurses didn't give him his PD meds, so he didn't know who she was that night.  He had his wrist surgery on Wednesday and she had to admit him to the NH rehab center last night.  She can't visit with him inside the facility, but she can make an appointment for an hour outside on the gazebo or talk to him through his window.  

I had a nice carry out Chinese safe distancing lunch with a friend in our driveway.  It's a beautiful sunny 70's day.  

Supper is leftovers from lunch.
