SHOPAHOLICS ONE DAY AT A TIME (FRIDAY, MARCH 4th)

Good Afternoon!  It is very windy here today, and there is even an air quality advisory.  The predicted high is 69 or 70 degrees -- much cooler than yesterday.  Anyway, it was so windy when I took my walk this morning that I felt like I was fighting to walk most of the way.  I knew it was too windy for my sunhat, but even my visor blew off twice.  Glad I was able to retrieve it since it is the only one that I have ever found to be comfortable.

I don't need more storage containers, so I will not be ordering the TSV.  I caught a little of the Sports Savvy show, and was really turned off by the prices.  Good thing I don't need any more clothing at this time.  Easy to exercise restraint under the circumstances.

One of our posters who no longer posts here named Valerie posted on Facebook that she is in kidney failure, and is in desperate need for a kidney donation.  The regular wait time for a donation is 3-5 years.  I am praying that she is able to find a donor.

DD told me that the my two Maryland grandsons are driving up to New Hampshire for the weekend so they can go to The Batman movie with their older brother.  Pretty wild.  I know they all were into Superman, Batman, Spiderman, etc., and always go to the movies.  Nice that the brothers still want to be together.

I am headed to the gym soon.

Waves to all of our posters and readers.  Hope everyone has a nice evening and sleeps well.  Please post if you have a chance.

Hugs,

Linda

Linda @LindaLatte  You probably burned more calories walking against the wind this morning.  Some of the Sport Savvy pieces are cute however I can do better price wise and JCP.

I'm sorry to read the Valerie is in dire need of a kidney transplant.  I will add her to my prayers.

That's so beautiful that the guys want to be together to see the new Batman movie together Heart

I learned yesterday afternoon that one of the posters of the Back Fence (retired thread) and Bird's Nest thread passed away.  I posted with Winifred well over a decade and even though the news was not a complete surprise, it still took me out.  Freddie was good people and now we have one less of her kind on the planet.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

Sorry to hear about Freddie's passing, Bernie.

I saw on Facebook that today is Barbara's husband's birthday. Hope that this is a good day for him.

LindaLatte--I will add Valerie to my list of prayers. She's in need of a miracle.

What a fun trip for the grandsons! So nice to see family "get togethers' on any scale.
