I actually have that top in red and black and have only worn each one time although I've had them for at least a year. I really like them and have no issues with the zippers. My issue is her tops run different in sizing, sometimes the medium fits well and sometimes I should have bought a large. I purchased these size large and should have sent them back for medium but I waited to long. Inconsistent sizing cost money so I've reduced my purchases of this brand

No, and if you read my OP that's not what it says.   

I'm merely pointing out that the zippers on the pockets could catch on knits.  That's a red flag for me.  Too many accessories have been ruined by exposed zippers and by buckles.

I frequently will toss a hand-knit/crochet scarf over my shoulders when I'm in someplace air conditioned, and have had some pieces ruined by exposed zippers.  So, I'm particularly aware of zippers.
