SG Illusions Waist Defining Soho Ponte Pants

Has anyone tried these? The reviews are relatively good. I am wondering whether people who have tried them can comment on whether the leg flares too much and how the waistband feels (is it a heavy elastic?).

I was thinking of these in the characoal b/c they look like a darker grey than what I saw of the WIC color. BTW, I recently bought WIC crops for an upcoming vacation. Wondering how SG compares to WIC in the full length pants. I have never purchased any SG before.
