Today a pair of sunglasses were shown by Prive Riveaux.

When host Terri Conn was showing these, she mentioned "ruthenium" for the last choice.  This is the name of the metal used for the frames. I have never heard of this metal until today!

Does anyone have info about this metal?

thanks!

l googled ruthenium. It belongs to the platinum group of metals. So I guess that means a silvery color

Thank you!

I wondered too if anyone has ever had jewelry made from this metal?

@LTT1   Ruthenium is the color of the black frame.  The glass frames are not made of Ruthenium
