I don't think it was Lisa herself, but her "well-meaning" fans. I'm sure this rumor (if one can even call it that since it likely only exists in the Q Facebook/Forum stratosphere) started when her fans posted on her Facebook page.

As much as I like Lisa, I also understand that her popularity is limited. I agree it would be somebody well known in the FP role. I also don't see Lisa getting a nationwide talk show - consider how many big names fail each year in that arena. Lisa herself was just involved with the failed Bethany show.

Of course, I think it's interesting that everyone places success on being on television. That her leaving and NOT ending up on TV would be a huge failure. And, maybe that is her plan. But, she could be successful in many careers.

I agree. Lisa does have a really good personality and she's likable and I noticed over the past few years she's been a fashion expert/adviser on a few talk shows so maybe that's what she'll do. I'm going to miss her but I think now is the right time for her to try something new. I'm sure she'll post something soon on her facebook since she's also announced she's moving to CA.

I thought Lisa was at first (not witty enough or too nice). Kathy would be a great choice. She should have Anderson Cooper be a guest.

I think some of this is just misinterpretation by some and outright lies.

The notion that Lisa Robertson would take over for JR on Fashion Police is beyond ridiculous.

It's all over the news that E! is in "talks" with Joan's good friend and fellow comedian, Kathy Griffin. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we find out that Joan picked Kathy as her successor.

Perhaps the poster is thinking of Patti Reilly who I believe did move to California. There's a whole lot of speculating going on on the Q boards.

I speculated this when I heard she was leaving, because I think she would be good on the show, it starts back in January, and she is leaving the Q 12/12!

I honestly think she should create a web presence for women "of a certain age." It could address all aspects of growing older, from beauty to fitness to health. It could se1l products. Since she has been branded a "lifestyle expert" this would be right up her alley. The big problem would be financial: she would need investors and it might not pay off right away.
