It has already been announced that Kathy Griffin is taking Joan's place. I can certainly see Lisa R as a panel member. Maybe Kathy wants her own panel not Joan's.

It does make sense that Lisa's departure has something to do with Joan's death. She announced that the Lisa Robertson Show was coming back in February and now she's leaving in December. Something big happened in between there to make her leave.

Patti Reilly gave up a lucrative position at QVC to do apparently nothing...at least for the first year or so. Her Facebook page says that she wants to be involved in the beauty industry.

I do not think Lisa is too worried. She could probably get hired by any shopping network if things do not pan out for her.

Just because Patti is no longer in the public eye does not mean she has not found a successful career. Maybe she has become successful in an area in the beauty industry outside of the public veiw. She is NOT obligated to continue to let the QVC people or anyone know her every move. ( and NO< I DO NOT know Patti and this is not a "planted" post. just saying GEESH!!!

Don't you think I checked out what Patti Reilly is doing these days before making my post? Do you really think people post things without checking on facts first? I said that she did nothing for the first year...(except maybe contemplate her next move). Check LinkedIn if you want to know what she is doing now. Obviously your post was not a "planted" post, because you don't know what you are talking about! GEESH!!!

Why would the OP start this ? This is only a rumor started by QVC posters here on these threads? Not a bit of fact from Lisa behind it.

I can't believe someone would do this with absolutely no fact at all.

I don't see a chance of this at all! I had heard Carson Kressley turned down the offer. I think they need a real celebrity with that all around recognition, sense of humor and fashion sense that will bring a large audience. I loved Joan so much, it will be very difficult to find someone who has her charisma and sense of fashion. I would have loved to see Carson do it, but I don't know if that will happen

Well now we know it its Kathy Griffith. Not happy. She won't have the class going for her. She does bring another surgically enhanced face though. I loved Joan for her honesty about it. Kathy, she is just too crass. I really though Lisa would have been good. My first choices though were Carson Kressley, or Clinton Kelly.

I've heard all kinds of rumors, but I consider that a very unlikely assignment for LaLisa. I'm guessing she is looking for something more meaningful and more substantial. I don't see her as the "Fashion Police" type.

According to Melissa Rivers the FP will not be a weekly show, but only a red carpet event. I would believe the Bare Minerals story because of her close association & friendship with Leslie. She is leaving a huge salary with perks so she must have been guaranteed a great offer with someone.
