I ruined my favorite WHITE SG sweater this way. Now right in the middle of it I have a nice big whiter stain in the middle of white! I was trying to figure out how I managed to do it (thanks all for clueing me in) and to fix it and DH suggested that I lay it out in the sun to sun bleach it out to all  the same color white. That guy is a genius! Had it outside 2 days now and it's working! Almost all the same color. DH is so happy because now I don't have to buy another one to replace it!
