@Sooner I am with you, I love seeing the various hats. It makes me smile.

I still love the old movies where the very dashing man is wearing a hat and the woman is dressed to the nines!

I remember when I was a kid always having an Easter outfit that included a new dress and a hat to wear for church.

I still wear hats - including some that others would consider outrageous looking but what the heck, IMO you have to have a bit of confidence to carry it off.

@Bri369 ha you have to have something (usually a lot of hair) to keep those hats on your head!

Many years ago, it would have been a big old hat pin.

@lmt well I like the style of Princess Anne's hat but IMO the color should have been different to go with the dark green of her dress.
