Reminds me of my Mom when I was about 8, she made me a lilac shorts set, with vertical row of different colored rick rack on the top and on one of the legs of the shorts, ah I wish I had a photo

Wow.  That takes me back.  My mom sewed most of my clothes back in the 50's-60's and used lots of rick-rack in every size and color imaginable.  I had not thought about it in years.   I don't like it now on the photos above and doubt I'd wear it.

I think the clothes shown look nice, but I wouldn't buy them.

It isn't something I will put on my shopping list as a "must have" but I think it can look nice. The examples pictured have a fresh look to them. I like it.
