Re: Rhonda Shear Butterknit???

Looks more like "underwear" than a tank top...

susan graver has only ONE butterknit item in her line, i believe.

perhaps she gave up using that description.

there is no little r symbol in a circle to say that it is a registered trademark?

muk luks uses the term butterknit also. if you google there are other brands that use the term "butterknit."

Re: Rhonda Shear Butterknit???

Butterknit is not exclusive to SG. Others have been using the word for many years.

That being said, I have tried 3 different styles of Rhonda's bras.  None offer any support.  Not wasting my money again.

Re: Rhonda Shear Butterknit???

I remember the SG butterknit pieces years ago. Haven't heard her mention that fabric in ages.

The RS item looks like it's meant to be worn under clothes. I would never wear that tank on its own.

I've heard Susan say liquid knit is hers and exclusive, but don't remember that she has claimed other similar but slightly different fabrics.

I like liquid knit for tops better than many of the other poly tops I have.  I have tried few of her poly bottoms;  one she made years ago in only two colors was every bit as good as I paid double for a very similar fabric locally.

Re: Rhonda Shear Butterknit???

For me, Rhonda Shear, in any bra format, means zero support.  Sure, I look fine just like the models when I stand still in them.  But by the time I walk into the next room it's watch the bouncing balls mess.   Never again.

Re: Rhonda Shear Butterknit???

holy smokes I would never appear in public in that. Too tight. Too form fitting. My form has many fat rolls. No thank you to highlighting them

I would wear those tanks under a sheer top, but never by itself.

Too tight for me to wear all alone.

Re: Rhonda Shear Butterknit???

I think I have one SG Butterknit top that I got about a year ago.  I like it better than Liquid Knit as it's more substantial and not as clingy.
