I have the same issue as the OP. I have three of the Belle bottoms in different styles and they fit very nicely.

Although I have the opposite figure (short, pear-ish lol), I appreciate your thorough review. I love when people give really thorough reviews based on their body type. I'm sure it's very helpful for those who have similar figures. Enjoy your jeans!

Thank you I ordered them just hope I got the right size.  I am normally a 2X with a thick middle so I looked at the size chart and ordered a size 20 hope I did the right thing Thanks again
