I can never buy all the Linea I would like to when things are first presented but decided I needed a black jacket in addition to the black boucle with the signature pearl buttons jacket that I already had. Fortunately, a jacket in black popped back into stock in my size of medium. So of course I had to buy it! This is a beautiful jacket. For those of you who have the Roma Ponte stand collar jacket, the fit of this jacket is very similar, and is SOOOOO flattering! It also has the stand collar which frames the face beautifully, and the positioning of the black on black embroidery subtly broadens the shoulders, which of course makes the rest of you seem slimmer! This will be a three season jacket in my climate: worn alone or perhaps with an alpaca cape over it for fall and spring, with or without a thin sweater under it; and under a coat in the winter with a cashmere sweater under it. This is another one that can be dressy or casual with jeans and boots. A definite winner for me!
