I love this skirt! It is just the right length...looks like one someone any age could wear. It also looks like one that you can dress up or dress down. I can envision it with the "crisp white button down" like the model is wearing...and a string of beads. Or...I think it would be adorable glammed up with a sequined peplum top at a party.

I just ordered it in both black and navy. I'm 5'7" and usually wear a size 6, so I ordered the small. Hoping that I chose the correct size and that the bottom hits me about where it does on the model in the picture.

Madisson, I just got my skirt and it fits perfectly. I'm a 6 and got the xs. I think the sm may be too big. Does anyone else think it might be big.

I'm an 8 (sometimes a 10 depending on style) and the SMALL is a perfect fit.

Marilyn and Gardensia, Thank you for the information about the skirt size. I think I will go ahead and order them in XS while they are still in stock. Then I'll just send back whichever size doesn't work. That magenta is gorgeous too...hmmm!

Re: Review for Moss Crepe Skirt and Top

I love this fabric. I am so happy that I ordered it. I recall my mother wearing a fabric with this feel many years ago. I recall a black skirt, a black blouse and a strand of white pearls at the neck. I was always a tactile person. My mother dressed so beautifully and I loved to feel the fabrics of her clothes against my face and hand: all the crepes and even then they felt different. This feels like one I recall in black with a black top that she wore with pearls, seems as though I recall it had a Peter pan collar. I do like this feel and I had convinced myself I would not. I am happy I got it. I went up a size in both as I had been taking many drugs that cause weight increase and I should have stayed at my regular size in the skirt (although I am a bit bigger). However, I am not going to return it but will have seamstress nip it in a bit. Just as cheap as returning it in this case.

What a sweet memory name and a lovely endorsement of the fabric.

Re: Review for Moss Crepe Skirt and Top

Just received my top today! It is amazing! Because I'm bigger in the middle, I sized to the XL and good thing I did, slightly fitted to your waist. It drapes beautifully, great fabric! If I wasn't retiring, I'd definitely get them all.

Thx. Mustangshar for sharing your fit!! Couldn't decide if I should go up a size......I also have a ""middle"" problem.

BTW....congrats on the retirement!! How's your Mom doing?

Re: Review for Moss Crepe Skirt and Top

Based on the measurements, I sized up in the skirt and ordered the S. It was too big, so today I ordered the XS, which I think will be perfect. Now I will have to pay return shipping because I don't dare wait until they receive my return to order the smaller size. Oh well, $6.95 is less expensive than alterations!

Re: Review for Moss Crepe Skirt and Top

I am definitely getting the top, but am not sure whether to get the skirt. I rarely wear short skirts --usually longer skirts but mostly pants. I just don't want to be sorry that I didn't get the complete outfit. I am 5' 6" about 125 pounds, B&M size 6, 31 waist and 37 hips--prefer a fairly close fit. Can't decide on xs or s for skirt. What do you think? KK
