Today Isaac had a long cardigan on a show.  The pockets were baggy, the length was uneven and the sides flared out.  This was the case on all colors that were shown.  Are there any "designers" who care about the end product along with the fabric that goes into it?

There may be, but he hasn't been one of them for years.

It really didn't look good. I have some older pieces of his and they are really nice.

QVC has been cutting budgets for a few years and it shows.

I think the designers care more about staying with QVC than their reputations for good quality.

I think he figures his qvc fans will buy anything. I find his designs insulting, with how little effort he puts into them now.

Re: Really ———- sloppy

The method of construction used on many of Q's  garments has totally gone to pot.  I recently received a top where the two raw edges had been drawn together and overcast with a serger.  There was no seam to speak of.  Cheapest possible construction and this wasn't a cheap top.  This was a Kim Gravil top but I've gotten the exact same with a Women in Control top.  Won't buy either again.

@GenXmuse.  Talk about insulting, just look at how little effort he puts into his personal appearance before he comes before us.  Totally disrespectful that he can't occasionally comb his hair and put on some decent clothes.

No matter what designer/label - warning signs.

  • Droopy on the hanger
  • Models are walkng around with their hands in the pockets.

Signals that there's an issue with fit or fabric.

He has a design team that creates some of his stuff and sometimes I think he doesn't even know what those creations are because he appears to know little about them when the items go on air, almost like he's looking at them for the very first time.

Re: Really ———- sloppy

Issac seems like a nice person and he has the gift of gab. But I doubt he is designing for QVC because he seems not to be informed about the garments. I also saw the cardigan with the saggy pockets. If it looks bad on the model, it's a no.
