Real life customer models

[ Edited ]

HSN is using real life customers as models now.  I've seen it a few times now.  I'm not sure if it adds anything to presentations or not.  I can say that being a 16/18 if I was considering that Giuliana jump suit....seeing that plus size woman in it would have changed my mind in a NY minute.  She was much larger than I still,  not flattering on a fuller body.

Wonderful idea....I can see how it would help with returns.

Customer or paid model, makes no difference.  It is either flattering to a figure or not.  People have to make their own choices and in the end it's still not a flattering one.

Sure I wouldn’t buy it if I were plus size and it looked horrible on the model but isn’t that good to know ahead of time?

The OP said that they are using real life customers.

@mom2four0418 follow any of the Q models on Insta/FB, and they're Q customers, too Smiley Wink

Some were customers before models.

I don't follow anyone on shopping channels. I interpreted her comments as meaning current customers who are not professional models. Maybe the OP will clarify.

I saw one the other evening.  The lady is a customer and not a professional model.   I don't know how often they are using customers as models.

Don’t understand.

Shouldn’t a S/M/XL on a professional model looks the same

as on a customer?  What would be the difference?
