Ready For Spring? 8 New Fashion Trends

With the extreme weather in much of the country, I think many of us are looking forward to spring! According to Glamour Magazine, these are the 8 fashion trends for spring 2018:

Ultra violet

Balloon sleeves

Bike shorts

Plastic jackets

Disco flair

Primary color blocking

Tinsel fringe

Measured sheer

Here's a link to the brief article, which includes photos of each:

@I am still oxoxAgree!

Those trends make me so happy not to be bothered by peer pressure.  Maybe the color blocking will be well done this round of it and that would become a maybe, but there's not a chance for the other 7 ever showing up in this house.

I'm all for ultra violet and purple as I wear those shades frequently. To me it's not a trend, it's always been popular. The rest I can do without. I'm sure we'll be seeing all of it on QVC, HSN, and Evine!

@LTT1

Thank you but clothing like that is really not my style. I am much more boho hippy than that.

Re: Ready For Spring? 8 New Fashion Trends

Winter just began so I won't be looking foward to spring for another 3 or 4 months.  It's probably an age thing or maybe just an acceptance of who I am but I pay little to know attention to what's "in style" or to the fashion trends for any particular season.  I just buy and wear what I like and every year I find what I'm looking for with any retailer I happen to be shopping with.  The only thing in that list that interests me at all is the color ultra violet, which I believe is a shade of purple or lavender.  I can see myself buying a top or two in that color, perhaps a pair of strappy sandals.  None of that other stuff will make it's way into my house.   I won't be wearing any plastic ultra violet bike shorts with fringe.

I don't care for most of them, but l could see myself buying something purple for spring, as well as an item with primary color blocking, and something with sheer trim that isn't risqué, lol.

They seem to be trying to bring back the 70s and 90s with some of these styles.

That’s a pass for me!! I’ll stick with Louis Dell’Olio classics!! They never disappoint.
