It's a good beef, I ruined a beautiful scarf once getting the tags off. Now if it looks like one that can't be safely removed with the seam ripper, I just leave it on and try to hide it through folding just so.

Scarf makers should listen to this!

YUP! I agree. Removing super-sewn-in scarf tags is tedious. Designers/fabricators should just use a few loose threads, so that these tags could be more easily removed. OR: Include a scarf BAG w/every scarf purchase which would include fabric content and care instructions.
