It was close to 70° today but it's rained off and on . We went to The Plaza for breakfast and brought home 2 pieces of their popular Graham crackers cream pie.
R .got a report on his sleep apnea. They say it is moderate he stops breathing 25 times in an hour. They're working on appointments for a cpa p machine. Hopefully one of the masks will work. Then at some point he'll see a pulmonary specialist.
Barbara, I'm so sorry you're one giant toothache. I hope you're able to sing tonight.
My former partner said the building they are living in and renovating has concrete floors which I had suspected. Hopefully he'll get some re!ief soon.

I accidentally hit post.
Linda, I hope you enjoyed lunch. That is off about the appointment being scheduled when they're closed.
One of the most upsetting things about Whit and her behavior is how the boys have been cut off from all their relatives.

Good Evening! It is 95 degrees here. Not quite as hot as the Phoenix area, but hot. The house is still much cooler and comfortable without AC. So sorry you aren't feeling well, Barbara. Hope you are able to sing.
Also hope R gets a machine that helps with his sleep apnea, Claudia. My SIL has used one for years, and I think it is usually helpful. That is terrible about Whit's accusations. I remember when I went to a group for people who had broken off with their spouses (separated or divorced) that some of the guys said that their wives were making all sorts of false claims against them -- mostly so they could get more support. Most of their children were grown, but I felt very sorry for those kids who were in the middle of such a mess. Really hope the judge can figure out what is really happening so that your SIL and others in the family can still be in touch with the kids.
Hopefully Tip will grow out of the limping. Enjoy your pies. Good idea to take advantage of the tree trimming.
The broker who messed up today was not the one who I need help with for DH's forms. I decided to give that broker some more time before trying to figure out that mess. This was just a small account I have with Merrill Lynch. Anyway, very annoying.
Lunch was nice, but the other lady was having some leg pain. She thought all was well, but is afraid pain is back. Hope your partner feels better, Claudia.
On impulse, I had my hair cut -- lucked out that my stylist was available after I had lunch. Then I did some grocery shopping and bought gasoline. The price for gasoline has really gone up -- now close to $3.00 a gallon. Glad I don't use that much, but.
Hope both of you sleep well.

$3.07 a gallon here, Linda. I hope you're pleased with your haircut. I'm overdue for one.
R had tried a c-pap machine some years previous and tried various masks but couldn't tolerate it. He breathes through his mouth. I hope there's more choices now. Stopping breathing 25 times in an hour is rather scary.
There isn't anything I can do except pray for the kids. I know Whit wasn't brought up to behave in this manner but that's cold comfort.
Adam is feeling upbeat about job prospects. That's one good thing.
The other night after supper R said he heard water running. We tracked it down to the hot water for the clawfoot tub. One of the cats must have nudged the handle when jumping out of the tub. It has just happened because the water was hot. Good thing we were home. Unfortunately the tub has no shutoff valve. I positioned a bucket in a way that it shouldn't happen again.

Good afternoon..it is about 93 out..a little too hot to go to the pool. I managed to get most of the house cleaned..now will sit and recover..lol. I made my salad for tommow and have small steaks thawing to cook on the grill.
Our Good Friday service was very nice..it was called Silence and Stones, with 6 meditations, music, silence and darkness. I found it very meaningful.
m and syd are busy cleaning up the yard. Sydnie wants to plant her flowers and garden, until I told her it was much too early. I never plant anything until after the middle of May.
i ordered a couple of cute sleeveless tops from jjill on a big markdown. Yes, I wear shorts and sleeveless because my legs and arms are in good shape.
Linda, I hope you are having a good day..I believe that you have a hospice visit this afternoon.
Claudia...hopefully the boys are old enough to figure out what is going on. They have had a good relationship with their dad. Hope r can find a mask that works...I believe the newer ones are easier to handle. Yikes about the cat turning on the water.
v realized this morning that he is going to have to take his walker apart to get it home. I suggested that he buy one when he gets there.
Enjoy your day.💜💜

Good for you getting all that work done, Barbara. Glad the Good Friday service was so meaningful. I think V getting a walker in MN is probably a good idea -- hope V agrees. I'm sure it is tempting to plant too early in MN, but it would be a shame to lose plants by doing so. It is hot but windy here this afternoon.
Glad your legs and arms allow wearing shorts and sleeveless tops. My vericose veins make shorts a no no for me except at home. While my arms aren't too bad, I am self conscious about some crepey skin, so I usually wear a some sort of top (shrug, etc.) over the sleeveless tops when I go out.
Hope all is well with you, R, and your furbabies, Claudia. Glad you were home and caught the water issue -- yikes.
My SIL e-mailed me to say that she got her job back and likes the new apartment (and homeowners). Whew! She needs to pay a little more, but still much better than other options.
I needed to pick up a book one of my bookclub friends is loaning to me. I was happy that I was able to do that and get to my hospice patient's house on time. Her DD was visiting from CA with her large dog. The dog seemed to be very well trained, so I wasn't nervous being left alone with her and my patient when her DH and daughter went shopping at Wal-Mart. My patient was pretty good, which was a blessing.
Hope both of you have a nice evening and sleep well.

Too bad B's walker isn't foldable,Barbara. It's certainly a good idea to have one at both houses. I'm glad you found the service so meaningful.
We stopped by Lowe's to look at bathroom fixtures. We've agreed this time not to get a pedestal sink. We also drive up to an antique store since they were having a spring opening sale. R bought a small vintage item. As for me I thought I was buying a 3 drawer chest. Didn't realize till I paid and went out to the car to find it loaded that it was not. It was 3 smaller drawers with 3 more larger drawers on the bottom. Uh- oh. So we managed to get it home and with much grunting and straining out of the wagon, up the steps and onto the sunporch. We made it just before the rain started pouring down. R won't let me live this down easily.
Later R had a bowling dinner we went to. Several hours on a concrete floor did not help me. Griffyn was quite relieved when we got home and took the drawers off his couch and put them in the dresser. When we left for dinner he was mournfully looking at the couch and deciding there was no room for him.
Linda, what a relief that things are working out for your sil. I'm glad the dog at your hospice visit was well trained. I remember large dogs make you nervous.
