I'm glad DH and you had a better night, Linda. It's about time the medicine arrived.

I hope something can be done for R and it isn't his neuropathy worsening.

Adam is sorting through things and it's chaotic here. I just figured Whit and family don't have a lot of extra money so I wanted Adam to have a months worth (hopefully) of cat food and litter. I've been busy photocopying his tax return, the kittens medical paperwork, and Adam's personal documents. They're now in a file box and he'd better not lose it. Meds are in another container.

I'm about to check the dryer and get to bed as it appears we're off to the VA tomorrow. I'm glad DD saw the doctor. Fingers crossed no one else gets sick but...

I spent a good part of the morning looking for an att store...I found 3 that were closed. I do know of 2 others so will tackle that later in the week. I want to go to the pool for a while..it is going to be pretty warm today.

The dance studio took good care of Sydnie. M received the competition line up and  it turns out that dance moms daughter is in a different group...she was moved into the next age group. So the competition has been taken away. Sydnie is so relieved. 

Claudia, sounds like you are getting Adam off to a good start. I hope he does well out there. I think Pepper looks so adorable.

Linda, glad dd went to the dr. There is a lot of influenza here so I wash my hands constantly. Glad dhs meds arrived. Hope your day is going well.

We started to the VA at 6AM. However the roads were slippery due to rain overnight and snow afterwards. We also didn't feel that great. About 10 miles on our way we decided to turn around so called and left the dental clinic a message..A 3 hour round trip drive was just too much for us.

Barbara, I'm happy Sydnie is in a different group and away from the dance mom. Pepper is simply adorable.

Good Afternoon/Evening!  Hope your VA trip went okay, Claudia.  And, I also hope that Adam's move is a positive one.

Hope you enjoyed the pool if you made it there, Barbara.  Unfortunately, I did not do so.  Glad the studio has come up with a solution that seems to work for Syd.  Oh to be rid of "dance Mom".

DH didn't sleep well last night -- woke me up from a deep sleep around 3:00 a.m. (tried to get back into the bed on top of me).  And, so it went.  I only gave him the old dose of the sleeping pill since I was concerned that he might be too out of it, but tonight I'll try the new (double dose).

He seemed in pretty good shape this morning, and I took a nice walk after I dropped him off.  Then, I went up to COSTCO and the other Wal-Mart, which made the pool trip difficult.  To top it off, they called me from day services to say that they were concerned that DH has pink eye.  He was complaining about his eyes, which he has been doing lately.  But, I thought it was dry eye/allergies.  And, I had purchased some special drops from Wal-Mart.  Anyway, he didn't seem that bad off when I picked him up, but they won't take him back until he is cleared of pink eye or he has been treated.  I called the hospice nurse, and she will try to make it here this afternoon.  If that doesn't happen, we will need to wait until tomorrow afternoon when the other nurse comes (regular visit).  

I think I can leave him alone while I'm in class tomorrow afternoon, but Friday will not work since I'm seeing a lawyer later in the day in addition to having class in the morning.  So, I'll need to arrange for home health care if he cannot go to day services.  Just what I needed -- not.  

I had his caregiver ID card revised, and picked it up after I picked him up.  Long story short, the owner told me that when his Mom went to day services (she had Alzheimer's) they told him that they thought she had pink eye a couple of times, but she did not -- just dry eye.  I don't blame them for being worried about it, but....

Oldest DGS has the flu -- DD took him in today.  So, now they are both on the special medicine.  He has class tonight, so I hope he can make it okay.  DD is much better, but still coughing, etc.  She was able to sleep last night, which is important.

Sorry you could not make the VA trip yesterday, Claudia.  But, it sounds like you made the correct decision about not going there in bad weather and when you were not feeling well.  Hope R can get another appointment that works for you.

The nurse could not make it last night, but the other nurse came this morning.  DH does not have pink eye, so I can take him to day services.  Thank goodness.  (He called them to let them know DH was okay).  The nurse thought DH might have allergies, and I showed him a couple of allergy medicines I had purchase (OTC).  He picked one, and I gave DH a pill.  Lots of people around here are suffering from allergies.  And, a couple of my friends even need to have regular allergy shots.  I have had some problems which is why I had the pills.

DH did not sleep well again last night, and he had an accident this morning.  I definitely will up his medicine tonight.  His accident was not as bad as it could have been (in his pants), but yucky to say the least.

I have British history this afternoon, and I will take a walk this morning.  Nothing else planned.

That's good news about the pink eye, Linda. I'm sorry about the sleep issue plus the accident. Not a good start to the day.

I just scheduled TT for a grooming appointment next week. Earlier we went to the cu and took out funds for Adam. When I stopped at Adam's bank I told them about the move to OK. I was concerned Adam might forget and didn't want a hold placed on his card.

Enjoy this afternoon's class.

Griff snuck into my chair and squeezed behind me then laid down and shoved with his feet trying to move me out of the chair.

We played bridge this morning and then ran a few errands. We made it to att to find out that the ringer was turned off.,I have met phone in an otter case so that is never an issue for me and I completely forgot to check for that. We had a good laugh and do not need a new phone. 

I got got a prescription for prednisone . My jaw is affected and I look like a chipmunk on my left side . Yikes. I started it immediately and it should start working by tomorrow.

Linda, sorry. About the sleep issues and the accident. You are such a good person. At least it was not pink eye. Enjoy your classes today.

Claudia..when does Adam leave?!?good to tell the cu...thank goodness Pepper who will maybe be 13 pounds will not be able to kick anyone out of a chair. Lol.

m dais Sydnie is now excited to do her solo. I kind of feel for the other girl because she is being set up not to do well. 

I am resting this afternoon..have choir tonight and would like to feel well for that.

Adam plans to leave Saturday. He picks the U-Haul up tomorrow.

It's too bad about the dance mom's daughter. If she didn't want to dance in the first place she will end up really hating it.

Today is vs birthday. I bought him a new kindle and picked up a bouquet of roses at the store. We will grill steaks for dinner. 

The he prednisone kicked in so I feel pretty good. I have my knitting group this afternoon so no pool time. Our weekend looks to be pretty quiet.

the dance mom told m last night that her daughter got moved up because she is such an elite tapper. M decided not to tell her the real reason. She will not be present since Syd dances Saturday morning and the rest of her dances are on Sunday. M said Syd is pretty excited to do her dance.

Had not heard from Amie so I called yesterday. They had all been sick with a viral thing...but everyone is much better.

A Happy Birthday to V. Today is Whit and Mike's anniversary.

Adam has the uhaul mostly loaded. He's planning to leave tomorrow afternoon as he's stopping at good friend's on the way and probably spending the night.

Oh that dance mom. M was wise not to tell her the real reason. I'm glad Amie and family are better and that your prednisone kicked in.

I hope you were able to sleep well last night, Linda. I just reordered some of R's meds online.
