Oh boy, this is one of my pet peeves ...... WHY do sneakers have to look so GAUDY?

They all look like they were made to appeal to 11 year old boys!

I don't dislike it, but I have so many pairs of athletic shoes already. I only wear them for workouts, and for me, function is more important than looks.....although I don't mind the way any of mine look (Nike, New Balance, Brooks)

OP...what is it that you're looking for in a shoe? It shouldn't be that hard to find , with the multitudes of choices we have.

i love that I have the option of getting sneakers with color. I am a size 5 and the only sneakers in my size in the store either have Dora the Explorer on them or they are something to be worn for work. BTW- I have grey from January when it was a TSV, and I really like them.

When I saw the title I immediately thought of some sneaky person. Of course I quickly discovered you are talking about tennis shoes. I can hardly live with ""hand bags"" let alone let the term ""sneakers"" take over too. They are purses and tennies. Geez!
