I've been bored with jeans the last two years and have rarely worn them. When I'm out & casual, I'm usually wearing pants like the IML 24/7 stretch full length pants (A-222358). I also wear capris in the summer. I'm sure I'll go back to jeans, but I'm still enjoying my break from them.

I believe the "Fat-i-zation" of America has everyone reaching for anything stretchy. Just stands to reason since a large % of the population is obese, fashion will follow.

I have several pairs of denim & co denim pedal pushers and about 4 pairs of full length jeans. However, i live in Fl so I do not often wear long pants.I prefer the denim & co 2 pocket pants over jeans for comfort.

I predict jeans will have a huge comeback when the skinny and leggings trend passes.

There is a jeans style for every woman, and with all the lycra in them...they can be just as comfortable as yoga pants.

I think clothing sales, in general, have been down this year. I get so many emailed offers for 40%-60% off my order, for many different online stores. So jeans sales might be down, but so are all clothing sales. I just don't need much at this time, since it seems I stocked up last year, and there really hasn't been anything new or different.

Why would we need to buy duplicates of what we already have?

Thanks for the interesting article. I will probably go back to wearing jeans in the winter, but now I much prefer long skirts and sundresses. They're so much more comfortable.

I have been a multitude of sizes. I have had many, many pairs of jeans that looked great. I have yet to have one that was actually comfortable. Ha!

I'm a jeans gal, been a jeans gal since my college days. I'm not a knit jeans looking pants girl, nor a yoga pants girl, not even a sweat pants girl. There's really nothing I can't do in my jeans, I just change the style and cut for everything from yard work (jeans shorts or pedal pushers) to going out for a nice evening.
