I was in PA and stopped at the QVC outlet store. Oh my it really gave me a deep appreciation for the QVC show hosts job. The outlet store looked like liquid knit meets breezies in a good will swap meet. When you receive your individual purchase at home many items appear very nice. But when you see it all thrown together good will style. Oh my what a. Bunch of junk. I cannot imagine going to work everyday and describing this stuff with enthusiasm.
Yes, I was there in October, after taking the wonderful All Access QVC tour. It was a graveyard of all the things you see on TV and say, "who would buy this?". So many ugly SG dresses and tops. I was so excited to go there and left without buying anything. That store gives QVC a bad name. One of the staff told me that Albany had been in there the day before. But why???
I've been to the Frazer outlet at least 10 times. I usually can find one item there that I like. There is a lot of dreadful QVC clothing, items there. The IM jacket I got was one that is online for $63, and I got it for $20. It was in perfect shape. The reviews all said it ran small, and I thought it ran true to size. I got a really pretty teal color. Now I wish I had bought the blue and pink.
Oh? That is one thing I wanted to do this summer was to take a road trip to a QVC outlet. Not good, huh? Bummer. But Winamac, you DID get a great buy!
Don't go specifically for the outlets Sue. I usually leave disappointed, but I have found a few great buys. This jacket was really nice, and I was surprised at the negative reviews. It certainly isn't worth over $72 with s/h and tax, but for $20 or so…great buy. It was a lightweight jacket which I like and the length was good. As I said, I should have bought the other colors. Have a nice day.
Been to the Mebane, N.C. Outlet, very nice, store looks nice, and the merchandise looks appealing. But then, I always see the glass, half full! Try not to focus on the negative in the general scope of my life, makes for a happier person.
i go to the one in rehoboth beach and i must say it is clean and organized and i love picking through everything to find the great bargains and styles that work for me. i can rarely leave there without making a great purchase on multiple items, especially on jewelry markdown days......love when they do 60 percent off sales. i know which brands i tend to like so i try to focus on those and i also like browsing through the kitchen and housewares section.
you have to have a lot of patience and really look through items, but there are some fantastic buys to be had! love leaving with a bag full of items for under 100 dollars!

I have been twice to the outlets in PA. I found good deals both times, but the stores were messy and disorganized. If you are in a hurry don't go, you have to have lots of patience and be willing to look through "stuff" Once when I was there they had lots of Spanx and Donney bags. The next time lots of Northern Nights sheets and Quacker Factory . Both times there was lots of jewelery. If you are in the area I think it is worth stopping, but not as a destination. I never left empty handed.
I lived near the one in Frazer and used to go often. Sometimes I found great deals and sometimes I didn't. I have found something I have been looking at on the Q and tried it on and liked. Then I went on the site and ordered it in a color I liked!
Shoes and jewelry are a good deal. Found a pair of Tig shoes that have been on my wishlist for awhile. Got them $12! Love them!
There is only one dressing room, but I just try things on on top of my clothes.
Have met some fun people that come from all over the country and stop in to check it out after the tour.
You do have to hunt sometimes, but their are definitely some good buys if you take the time.
