Don't know your size but this teal crepe dress is available on the Ralph Lauren site right now for $80. I would look at Macy's , Lord and Taylor. Also TJ Maxx site has great deals on very nice formal dresses and gowns.

This is BCBG Max Azria. On their site, final sale though $298. Size 0, 2, and 6. I love that it has butterflies. Adrianna Papell also has some pretty tea length dresses.

Re: Question about what to wear to my sons wedding?

Earlier today, I got an email from Coldwater Creek and was looking through their website.

There's a section called Beautiful Occasions.  Some very pretty dresses at reasonable prices.

My sister wore a very pretty forest green chiffon to her son's Fall wedding.  My mother wre powder blue to my brother's wedding ... but that was a summer wedding.

@classic That dress IS stunning. Only a thin person could wear it although I am sure others tried to squeeze into it. I can see why you had so many compliments.

@panda1234: I just want to say thank you for your lovely words.. Before I purchased the dress I asked my daughter if it looked good, and of course, I wanted her approval.. She's the one who told me I should get it.. It did come in larger sizes, all the way up to 14.,.

My mother was a seamstress; & I learned quite a few things from her.. One can have a dress style in one fabric & then same style in a different material giving the dress a complete different look .. Have a great evening!!
