Where do you like your maxi dresses to hit on your legs? I'm 5'3-1/2" but I'm long legged. I can never order petite pants or they're too short. Some maxis I've bought in the past are petite, but most are regular length (various lines). I have some now that are fitting me about 2-1/2 to 3" above the ankle bone. I'm so used to wearing them it doesn't bother me. But at an event the other night I noticed most maxis hit lower, almost, but not quite, skimming the ground. 

So what is your opinion? Where do you like yours to hit?

I only wear flats - so just at the top of my ankle bone is the best length for me.

I like mine to hit just above my ankle bone.  I don't like them to almost skim the ground...then I end up tripping or stepping on the hem.  I'm 5'2 1/2"  with short legs so I always buy a petite lenth in maxis. I only wear flats, too.

I rarely have a choice, because I'm tall and I take what I can get! Hitting at the ankle is ideal because I like to wear ballet flats or sandals.

Around the ankle bone or the very tops of my feet at the longest. I wear flats in the summer so I usually have to hem the maxis that I buy.

I'm tall also and will settle for any length in cotton material. I actually like the maxis that have side slits.

On maxis I like them as long as possible.  I'm about 5'10" so ideally may maxi dress should hit me between the bottom of my calf and my ankle.  I love a long dress.

I am 5'4" but I like to wear heels, so I prefer mine to hit at the top of my foot.....

I guess the ankle bone is the winner!   That's where I like mine to hit also.  Mainly only wear summer type maxis so I also wear with a flat or flip flop, nice beachy feel
