ask that the hosts wear the clothing being sold (Obviously, not always...)...
1)- It would simply make sense
2) QVC would sell more of that item (or items)- There are people who would actually, for whatever reason, purchase items simply because a host was wearing it- Don't understand that, but it's true!
3) It QVC clothing isn't good enough for the hosts, (and it's clear that it isn't) then why would anyone else want it either? It speaks volumns that hosts prefer to purchase clothing elsewhere- Hmm....maybe QVC should offer higher end brands for those of us who wouldn't wear Sport Savvy, Denim & Co, Quaker, etc... THe designers that they do have, we hardly wever see on air- QVC shuold expand their target audience!
