I'm 5'7" and wear size medium in most QVC tops.  I have long arms and have always had problems with sleeves being to short.  The trend toward longer sleeves is perfect for me.

@Trudey  I could have written your post.   I'm also 5'7" and a medium with long arms and happy for the longer length too.

Totally agree with the few above. I am 5’8” and wish sleeves were longer on most tops. I watch a lot of the taller models to try and determine sleeve length along with reading the garment measurements. Poor Katia (sp?) as she is a very tall model and most shirts sleeves barely reach above her wrists.

And another problem.  Tops are no longer A-line like they used to be in the old days.  Even though women aren't built straight up and down--the have tummies and rear ends--the tops are straight now.  When I order a top that fits my bust line, the top is tightly stretched across my tummy and rear end much like a sausage casing.  Having slits on the sides would help.  I think longer tops stretched out to cover everything make one look fatter.

Solutions would be shorter tops for petites or short people, A-line cuts, side slits, or even curved hems.  I've noticed that Quacker Factory now have all their plus tops starting at 29".  Jeanne Bice would really be angry.  I guess because Angel is tall, she designs her clothes to fit her.  Much like Joan Rivers used to design her jackets, etc., to be short-waisted and short in length like she was built. frustrated.gif

Revived this thread to say that I received a top from Coldwater Creektoday.   Loved the print and it fit well.. Was a medium.   But.... the sleeves were too short so it has to go back.   Me and my gorilla arms... bummer.

DONE BUYING CLOTHES FROM QVC

I DON'T KNOW WHAT QVC DID TO THEIR SIZING METHOD. BUT IT IS NOT GOOD. DONE BUYING THIER CLOTHES. IT'S TOO BAD, THIER SIZING USED TO BE AT PRETTY GOOD. NOT SO NOW.

Haha!  I've wondered about that too.
