QVC embarrassment? Has this ever happened to you?

I wear A LOT of QVC clothing, different pieces chosen carefully from several various QVC lines - LOGO, d&co., SG, LC even QF. I'm careful to pick pieces that fit right and flatter me. As a result, I get lots of compliments from the women I work with.

I noticed something that has happened to me frequently. Someone will compliment me and ask where I bought something. When I tell them it's from QVC, it's an awkward moment, as if they are embarrassed for having asked... like they just found out my dirty little secret and need to change the subject. I try to tell them that QVC has lots of beautiful clothing for all tastes and sizes, but it seems like people can't get away fast enough {#emotions_dlg.blink}

What's up with that?
