Has anyone else found QVC sizing to be way off and inconsistent these days?  It used to be that I coud buy Susan Graver or Denim & Co. in size 1X and it would fit perfectly.  Now, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.  Also, I just ordered the lace Denim & Co. jacket and the sleeves were quite short for long sleeves.  Another thing, is many times when you order a set, one part is big and the other is small.  Is this happening with anyone else?

@patticakes

Instead of actually measuring the garments, QVC has just decided what measurement each size should be.  That is given in the "click here" measurements.  For example, a 1X top is 49" in the chest measurement and a 2X top is 53".  They list each top as having these predetermined measurements without actually measuring the garment.  Soooooo, It's a cr--shoot as to what the garment actually measures.  Sometimes the same item # will have different measurements.  They've found out that it's really easy to state the so-called measurements instead of really measuring the item!!!  Check this out for yourselves.  Each size, no matter what the item, is going to supposedly have the same measurement, for example 49" for 1X and 53" for 2X!

@patticakes I have been buying only the Linea line for the past few years. I have bought his items since his first show on QVC but even his clothes the sizing has been off, at least for me. I do alter his clothing because I love his clothes. I received a pair of IM pants today (I thought ai would try, they looked great on models but what doesn't) and the waist, hips and below knees were great. The thighs, HUGE. Soo much extra material. As my review said, maybe it was just this one pair but it has happened way to often. That is why I only buy LDO's line.

Generally speaking, I order the same size across the board ... with the exception of SG woven fabric tops.  After checking the garment measurements, I might have to go up a size or two.   All my LOGO, Attitudes, Lisa Rinna, Bob Mackie, C Wonder tops are the same sze. I don't buy other brands of tops.

Recently, I bought pants from SG, C Wonder, Basso and D&C.  Other than length - fit was great and all were the same size.   No matter where I buy my pants ... I almost always have to shorten them an inch or so.

Sizing has been an issue for years.  I think now it just seems to be getting worse.  It's not rocket science.  Though we all are shaped differently sizing is based on measurements, I can't understand for the life of me how that doesn't work!

@LindaSal

Lately, I've done measurements on QVC clothes I've purchased.  The actual size of the garments doesn't match the "click here" numbers.  This could only be true if they aren't actually measuring the garments anymore.

I look at garment sizing and almost all of the time I wear the same numeric size

I find things quite consistant

I do OK if I look at the "click here" measurements.  I do find variances in them; not every garment in the same size is, well, the same size.  I wear one of two sizes in D&Co and Graver pretty consistently - depends on the cut, style, etc., and how I want it to drape. Reviews help, too (runs big, small - ).  This is true for numeric as well as the S/M/L stuff.

I have a closet full of QVC clothing.  Some received just this week!

@fortune Exactly!   It means the garments are not being cut properly which explains all the difficulty with the fit.

@patticakes- I've complained about QVC's inconsistent sizing on  these boards for a long, long time.  I will not order "fashion" from them.
