Re: QVC Fashion: Stylin' it.......down on the farm?????

When I visited family down in West Virginia ... there's a series of pictures of me mowing the lawn (all three acres of it) on a riding mower - taken by my father from the front porch. (My parents moved from LI, NY to WV to get away from the hustle-bustle of LI.)

Stylish is not a word I would use for my "attire." {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I didn't have any appropriate clothes - so I borrowed some things from my father. Hilarious!

As an equestrienne I wouldn't be riding a tractor! I'd be driving a plow pulled by a couple of mules or draft horses. And would wear my normal barn clothes: DG2 jeans, a warm sweater with a real barn jacket over it, and my LL Bean muckers. No delicate fashion shoes for me! Also a pair of heavy duty riding gloves. And would have some carrots and apples in my jacket pockets for the horses afterwards.

If I were driving a tractor on a farm, I'd be wearing a horrified expression and anyone around would probably be too busy running out of my way to worry about what else I was wearing. It's probably the script to a long lost episode of I Love Lucy.

{#emotions_dlg.scared} Lucy, you got some 'splainin to do!
