Anyone here who favors this style?

I don't know why this caught my eye, but a headline about Vivienne Westwood (dec'd), who created the punk look.

Some good tidbits in the article to talk about in my American Pop Music course.

She was a lifelong rebel who was honored several times by Queen Elizabeth II. She dressed like a teenager even in her 60s

Well, it's sure not my style, but I say --- whatever you like and makes you happy and doesn't hurt anybody, go for it!

I was surprised to read that she created the punk style.  I was under the impression that bands in the 1970s like the Sex Pistols & the Ramones created the style not a fashion designer....I learn something new all the time.

@haddon9  This was new for me, too! And I knew about McClaren. Maybe I'll approach my course for next term from a fashion point of view, and then throw in the music.

It all starts with the flappers!

Not a fan of the punk look, but go for it if it's "you"!

she designed that big giant wedding dress for Sex In The City when Carrie was left at the alter by Big.  Her stuff was never my thing. Too ugly.
