I thought there might be a definite winner between cardigans v. pullovers, but pretty much mixed responses from all of you.  For me, I think as I got older I no longer want to put clothing over my head (no, I'm not concerned about messing up my hair).    I used to wear nothing but turtlenecks all fall and winter - now, not so much.  

 

I'm glad to see longer "sweater coats" back in fashion (can't get used to calling them 'dusters') -- didn't realize how much I missed them until they came back.  These are definitely for outside wear for me.

I love a cardigan, but looking in my closet a person could mistake me for a pullover girl.  In other words I'm comfortable with both.

I like a lightweight thin pullover top with either 3/4 or long sleeves for cool weather paired with a cardigan.  I haven't worn a pullover sweater for a very long time either.
