How many warnings to we need? Creating polyester clothing material generates a significant amount of pollution, primarily due to the energy-intensive production process using petroleum as a raw material, leading to high carbon emissions, and the release of harmful chemicals and microplastics into water sources during both production and washing cycles; making it one of the most environmentally damaging textile materials currently used. Our environment is being destoyed, why?

@amekmw. To answer your question, because natural fibers are more expensive and require extra care like ironing or, in the case or silk and wool, dry cleaning.
They are using more Rayon which is a natural fiber but requires processing.

I'm so glad you care about the environment. Anyone who does should be raising a big stink about all the chemtrails in the air. So maddening.

I know they should stop the chemtrails. It was a nice sunny day with clear blue skies yesterday until they started their spraying. No such thing my A$$.

Polyester will only fill up our landfills with more toxic garbage that does Not biodegrade???
I don't understand why we are not taking advantage of HEMP?

I can go without silk & wool. I want my cotton.

All my clothing has some poly in it, I don't iron so it's easy care & wear for me.

Polyester is the way of the world.

We should probably web search to find how many cotton farmers still grow cotton.
Cotton in the USA used to be plentiful.
When it's grown 'local', probably much less preservatives and chemical spraying for ocean transport/shipping to the US.
Just transport the cotton via train for weaving, etc. to local fabric weaving/ manufacturers.
If that makes any sense......

Because if you're like me I'm not going to iron anything period. I don't even own an iron. If it wrinkles in the store it stays in the store. I don't care what it's made out of. I just want clothes that don't wrinkle and keep me cool no matter the fiber.
